Special Mixture Gases

  • Methane

It is a gas that can be formed both naturally and on earth. Animal wastes are turned into raw materials and put into the dermator with anaerobic decaying bacteria and methane gas is produced. It is odorless and colorless. Methane can be explosive when mixed with other chemicals. High concentration of methane gas can be deadly when ignited. Methane is one of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming. In addition, fuel can be obtained from methane in garbage. Natural methane gases do not harm the atmosphere. Methane can be explosive when mixed with other chemicals, even at rates as low as 5%.

Usage areas ;

  • It is used in gas stoves.
  • It is used in electricity generation.

  • Argomethane

It is the composition of argon and methane gases. It is a calibration gas. It is colorless and odorless. It is a flammable and combustible gas. It is a heavier than air gas. It is a very flammable gas. It is not a toxic gas, but in high concentrations it can cause asphyxiation. Symptoms may include movement or loss of consciousness

Usage areas ;

  • It is used in cement and chemical analysis laboratories.
  • Automotive industry
  • emission test gas
  • environmental waste testing
  • leak detection
  • engine test
  • calibration gas
  • medical gas mixtures
  • as a humidity measuring and monitoring gas

  • Dry Air

Dry air is obtained in two ways, either by compressing the air into the tubes by means of a compressor or by mixing the nitrogen-oxygen gas. It is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-flammable gas compressed into steel tubes under high pressure.

Usage areas ;

  • In precision material cutting,
  • During surgeries in medicine
  • In submersible tubes,
  • In Chemical Production
  • For calibration purposes in laboratories
  • It is used as detector gas in Gas Chromatography and Atomic Absorption instruments at the spectrometric level.
