The origins of KAVAS Company are based on “Kavas Demir Ticareti”, which was established by İbrahim Kavas 42 years ago. Mr.İbrahim, one of the leading trade masters of Salihli, sold iron hardware, plow arrows in Manisa-Salihli. The company was transferred over to son Nazif Kavas in 1992.
With the initiatives of Nazif Kavas, the family started into the industrial gas business in 1997 and started selling Oxygen - Carbon Dioxide in and around Salihli. Having reached a certain sales volume, the company decides to direct their investments to the gas field and establishes the gas filling facility that became the foundation of Kavas Gaz.

In 2002, it established its own filling facility without using external resources, and proceeded to become an independent filling facility by making improvements in its vehicle park.

In 2015, the company changed its name and became Kavas Gaz Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ.

Production Method

Helium and Argon are used as inert gases in shielding gas welding methods. Argon gas is mostly used as welding gas for metals such as copper and aluminum.
